If you have been prescribed a statin and are concerned then your GP can arrange a blood test that will show if your liver has been affected in any way. Lincolnshi­re AS with your reader, my sister had treatment for breast cancer 12 years ago and also subsequent­ly suffered from shingles (October 3). Last summer she developed a very irritating rash for which ointments had no effect.

Then a friend noticed that every time she ate yogurt, she developed a rash. My sister no longer eats it and the rash has gone, although she can eat other dairy products. I hope this may help your reader.
