If you have been prescribed a statin and are concerned then your GP can arrange a blood test that will show if your liver has been affected in any way. Lincolnshire AS with your reader, my sister had treatment for breast cancer 12 years ago and also subsequently suffered from shingles (October 3). Last summer she developed a very irritating rash for which ointments had no effect.
Then a friend noticed that every time she ate yogurt, she developed a rash. My sister no longer eats it and the rash has gone, although she can eat other dairy products. I hope this may help your reader.
