It takes more than laying a wreath to help ex-soldiers
HAVING seen politicians parading on TV to lay their wreath for our long gone (but never forgotten) brave soldiers there’s something I don’t understand (“The changing of the guard”, November 13).
If they really care that much, why are so many of our more recent troops who have had to leave the forces because of mental or physical damage are homeless/ jobless but returning terrorists are to be given help and moved up the housing list?
Where is the loyalty that we expect from our troops returned when they need it? Denise Goodwin, New Mills, Derbys
