Jacob Rees-Mogg is a sex god says I’m A Celebrity queen Toff

- By Alison Little

LEADING inhabitants of the Westminster jungle yesterday received a flattering boost from I’m A Celebrity winner Georgia “Toff” Toffolo.

The 23-year-old identified married father-of-six Jacob Rees-Mogg, 48, as a “sex god”.

The Made In Chelsea star, crowned latest queen of the jungle, has been a member of the Conservative Party since her teenage years.

Becoming an MP would be a “dream” but not for another 25 years, she said yesterday.

Fancy

Asked which current politicians she most admired, she said: “The standard – Zac Goldsmith, Jacob Rees-Mogg. I fancy them all.

“Jacob’s a sex god. The human mind can be sexy. He’s so clever. I just love him.”

She added that her general preference on men was for “middle-aged politicians – but I’ve never been with one”.

A blushing Mr Rees-Mogg commented that he was “greatly surprised but nonetheless flattered”, adding: “I am glad Miss Toffolo won and hope this is the launchpad for a glittering career.”

Toff also urged Conservatives to do more to reach out to younger voters.

She said she had 1.5 million followers on Instagram and “this is the way the world is going. Perhaps it’s time for them to embrace that.

“I’m put in this box where I apparently shouldn’t be talking about politics. Why not?

“Let’s try and make it cool. Voter apathy, particularly among young people, stems from politics being completely unrelatable.”

It was in 2010 that her love of politics first blossomed when she and her best friend ran the Tory campaign for her boarding school’s mock election.

She said: “We got in touch with Conservative campaign headquarters and they sent us lots of stuff. We hung up huge posters on the main road and got in so much trouble.

“Anyway, we obviously won by a landslide and so did Dave Cameron. I’ve just loved politics ever since.”

Toff famously shared her jungle experience with Stanley Johnson, the father of Foreign Secretary Boris, and took an immediate shine to the politician and author. “The minute I met him I loved him. “He has the demeanour of no one I’ve ever met before, such kindness.”

She also admitted she “died” when boxer Amir Khan asked his camp mates whether there had ever been a female UK prime minister, and argued Labour MSP Kezia Dugdale should not be in trouble for taking part in the ITV series.

“She did them proud,” she added. “Sometimes politics can become snobby and archaic and I think Labour has done very well in not being like that recently.”
