MANCHESTER City won a penalty shoot-out to extend their unbeaten start to the domestic season and reach the semi-finals.

Moments later Foden had a shot deflected wide and fellowyoungster Tosin Adarabioyo headed just off target from the resulting corner, delivered by Gundogan.

Iheanacho was then booked for overstretching in a bid to beat Claudio Bravo to the ball and catching the goalkeeper late.

City took the lead in the 26th minute when Iheanacho played his part in putting his own side in trouble.
