PSG and City ready to fight for Sanchez

Express Sport understand­s that Sanchez wants to move to City – and if Pep Guardiola gets his man, the Chilean would not be cup tied for the Champions League, making him an even more attractive propositio­n.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has already admitted that he might have to sell one of his stars, either Sanchez or Mesut Ozil, both of whom have refused to sign new spent last season on loan at Bournemout­h.

He returned in the summer and, having shone in the Europa League, has now earned a place in Wenger’s Premier League side.

His contract expires at the end of the season and he can talk to foreign clubs from January 1.

But he has been insistent that he wants to remain at Arsenal, with Wenger revealing recently that contract talks would begin at the end of December.
