JURGEN KLOPP plans talks with goalkeeper Simon Mignolet before Liverpool’s clash with Swansea tonight.

But Liverpool manager Klopp insists that the Belgian will never again make a blunder such as the one that helped hand Arsenal a point in the enthralling 3-3 draw at the Emirates on Friday night.

Mignolet, right, who has had an error-prone career at Anfield and been dropped several times by Klopp, handed Arsenal their equaliser on Friday when he disastrously flapped at Granit Xhaka’s 30-yard shot. After the game, former Liverpool CHELSEA will go head to head with Arsenal in a £30 million January transfer window battle for Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

The 20-yearold, right, born in Jamaica, has set the Bundisliga alight this season with eight goals in 16 games for Leverkusen after joining them from Genk in the summer in a £12.4 million deal.

Chelsea have been tracking Bailey for some time and were close to making a move for the youngster last season, but have reportedly recently had defender Jamie Carragher insisted that Liverpool would never challenge for the title unless they get in a goalkeeper of “decent quality.” But Klopp said: “We don’t talk about that. It’s my job. It’s obvious. Everyone saw the mistakes. “That will never happen again with Simon. He has never conceded a goal like that - so we don’t have to make a big deal of it.” Liverpool go into tonight’s game in fourth place but having dropped six points in their last four matches. a £22m offer rejected by the German club.

Arsenal watched Bailey twice last week and want an extra wide man after losing Alex OxladeChamberlain to Liverpool and with Theo Walcott’s future at the Emirates growing increasingly uncertain. Chelsea today face a Brighton team who look to have improved their attacking attacking options by having an £18 million bid for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele accepted by the Scottish club.
