Gabby Logan “I’m not one of those who saves it up till January. I want to feel good going into the new year… I exercise five days a week and eat healthily. I don’t believe in diets. You’ve got to do this for life.” She may no longer be on the famous balance beam, but former Welsh gymnast Gabby Logan, 44, will always be bouncing fit. Davina McCall “It’s 20 per cent food and 80 per cent exercise [to be in tip top shape]. You have to do both. I don’t eat before I go to bed. I do try to enjoy myself otherwise life would be miserable… I had two chips last night,” With those abs of steal, we don’t think Davina McCall, 50, right, is actually joking! Mary Berry Queen of baking Mary Berry, 82, is infamous for keeping super trim despite all the sweet temptations, but she insists self-restraint is the key: “I’m all for baking sticky toffee pudding on a Sunday. A small portion won’t do you any harm, but you don’t have it every day of the week and you don’t go back for seconds.” Elaine Paige West End veteran Elaine Paige, 69, will wear you out: “You’ve got to look after your diet and exercise. I play lots of tennis, do dance classes, I go to the gym, I do weights and I walk briskly round the park. I’m hanging on!” Phew… Dame Darcey Bussell “I want to feel good in nice clothes. If I’ve got a really nice dress, I want to look good in it.” Strictly judge Darcey Bussell, 48, explains the reason behind her virtually sugar-free diet. Linda Gray Dallas icon Linda Gray, inset right, is still fighting fit at 77. The brunette beauty insists that the key to staying healthy is good old-fashioned balance: “I drink lots of water and do a lot of exercise, but I am not obsessive. I come to the UK and I eat scones.” Dwayne Johnson Jumanji star Dwayne The Rock Johnson, 45, is an absolute beast of a man, but getting that impressive physique comes from military-style dedication. He says: “I wake up and have a little bit of caffeine. An hour later I have breakfast, which consists of 10-12oz of potatoes, 8-10oz of grilled sirloin steak and 4-6 scrambled egg whites.” Alesha Dixon Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, 39, right, is very much a reap what you sow kind of gal: “Essentially you are what you eat, so if you put goodness into your body that’s going to show. I’m all about 90 per cent being good. I treat myself. I don’t worry about it too much. If you’re a happy person with a joyful disposition most of the time it shows… that’s the best beauty tip I can give anyone.” Daniel Radcliffe Sadly there’s no magic wand to a fitter body, so Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, 28, stays trim by

working on his diet. “I eat better than I used to, though,” he says. “I don’t eat pizza three times a week like I used to. I eat a lot of protein, that is the basis for most of it. I have a cheat day once a week where I go mental.” Robbie Williams Having always struggled with his weight, Robbie Williams, 43, has shed the extra pounds and insists he has found the permanent solution. “I am now on a vegan-based diet and I do Pilates and yoga every day,” boasts the star. Arlene Phillips “I eat a salad every day. My need for cheese has to be controlled – that’s the thing I find hardest to resist! I also love peanut butter. If I have that on wholewheat toast in the morning, I don’t snack… I like to keep moving. I warm up every morning and do exercises and run up and down the stairs.” Choreographer and former Strictly judge Arlene, 74, slows down for no one! Hugh Jackman Another Hollywood action man whose ripped physique is not for wimps: “I have oatmeal for breakfast, brown rice or yams for lunch and I always keep a protein shake by my bed. There are never any carbs after 3pm. If you just made that one change and did nothing else, you’d lose five kilos (11lb) in the first month,” says Hugh, 49, right. Jennifer Hudson The Voice judge Jennifer Hudson, 36, has an unconventional technique for overcoming food temptation: “I throw pancakes across the room! I don’t let the food intimidate me. If it’s too much I just get rid of it. It’s all about portions for the most part. I don’t work out a lot, but I do like to be active.” Don’t try this at home, kids.
