Silver lining for minnows as big clubs tire of FA Cup

WHY do the big teams bother to take part in the FA Cup?

Many of them lose or struggle against lower opposition citing fixture congestion, tired players etc when the real reason is, moneywise, it’s not worth it.

Their fans are the big losers. They crave silverware but clubs aren’t bothered. I suggest these clubs opt out of the FA Cup and let the real teams and fans compete.
