Lesley Sharp narrates this show which accompanies people who were born into the wrong body through life-changing gender reassignment surgery. Filmed over 12 months, the first film introduces Lucas (above left, with his mum) as he begins the transition from female to male and undergoes surgery to have his breasts removed, and Wendy, a railway worker counting down the days until her surgery.
