Complaints about sound on TV are getting louder

UNFORTUNATELY, the BBC is not the only company that has trouble with sound (“The kid gloves come off”, January 11).

Could we please have subtitles for the next three episodes of Kiri on Channel 4, the muchanticipated drama about the abduction of a young girl.

I found it hard to understand what Sarah Lancashire and the rest of the cast were saying, except for the gentleman who interviewed her at the end. What a shame, as I was so looking forward to a new drama. Sue Bailey, Skipton, N Yorks
