Mixed messages on the issue of gender identity

I READ that the principal of Altrincham Grammar School for Girls has instructed staff not to refer to pupils as girls just in case they might be having gender issues.

Surely if a pupil at an all-girls’ school is uncomfortable, they should move to a different school?

This gender nonsense is becoming overbearing and causing us to abandon common sense. Francis Corcoran,
