Runaway wife ‘has Gambian toyboy’s name on her bottom’
A MOTHER-of-nine who left her family to run away with a Gambian toyboy she met online has been branded “a buffoon” by her devastated husband.
Andy Hepworth was dumped by his wife Heidi after 23 years together when she became besotted with shopkeeper Mamadou “Salieu” Jallow, 32, who asked her to become his friend on Facebook.
Andy says his 44-year-old wife now has a tattoo on her bottom sporting the name of her new lover, has converted to Islam and started wearing a hijab.
Car mechanic Andy, 44, said: “She’s a buffoon. It’s become a joke now. She’s an idiot.
“She’s apparently got his name on her backside. She’s in cloud cuckoo land.
“She’s destroyed her family, absolutely ripped it apart and destroyed it. She’s only had Facebook since last January. She was making friends with people she doesn’t even know – it’s what you tell your kids not to do.”
Heidi, who flew to the Gambian capital Banjul last year, despite having never previously travelled abroad, defended her relationship earlier this week. She told ITV’s Loose Women show it was true love, adding: “I’ve got his photograph on my bank card.”
Heidi has two sons and a daughter from a previous relationship and she and Andy have three daughters and three sons.
Speaking last year, Heidi, who is back in the UK and living in Boldon, South Tyneside, said: “I make no apologies for following my heart. I’ve been unhappy for a long time and I think I have found someone to spend the rest of my life with.”
