We’re grown-ups, we’ll eat and drink what we want

-

I DO the garden, I walk the dog for an hour each day and do any DIY jobs around the house. All this is negated by me eating too much and my weight stays about the same, too heavy (“Our waistlines are no business of the Government”, March 8).

I know what is required; eat less, then the activities will start to work on reducing my weight. It is my choice. I am responsible for what I put in my mouth. I do not need Public Health England to get food companies to reduce portion sizes.

Stop the nannying, they are taking the responsibility away from the individual. Michael Hilder, Weymouth, Dorset
