Indecent proposal? Me too says kilt-wearing bagpiper

I REFER to your report about a speech by MP Melanie Onn (“MP calls for wolf-whistle to be made a ‘hate crime’”, March 8).

As a bagpiper I have worn a kilt at many functions. I have lost count of the occasions when women, sober or otherwise, ask, “What are you wearing under your kilt?” I do not ask them what they are wearing under their skirts.
