After being dumped by her boyfriend just days before their pre-booked holiday, Emily Middleton takes her ultra-cautious mother Linda with her to Ecuador.

However, the pair’s lives are soon turned upside down when they are kidnapped. Despite being polar opposites, they decide that working together and putting aside their differences is the best way to escape their captors. This leads to all kinds of hilarious, madcap antics as they attempt to outsmart the criminals and make a break for freedom.
