‘You’ll send us down’

SIR TREVOR BROOKING has warned West Ham fans they could land the club in serious trouble and send them spiralling out of the Premier League.

Club legend Brooking confirmed that West Ham co-owner David Sullivan was struck in the face by a coin during the scenes that marred Saturday’s game against Burnley at the London Stadium.

Brooking said: “The next five home games look pretty bleak because there’s no way the team will be able to play and get the points to stay up under that sort of atmosphere – it’s impossible.

“That atmosphere must never be allowed to come back, otherwise the club are in serious trouble. The fans have to understand that, have to shelve those frustratio­ns,
