Brendan looking in step with wife Zoe
SACKED Strictly star has put on a united front with wife Zoe following reports that their marriage is on shaky ground.
The pair’s eight-year union is said to have come under strain in recent months, with it reaching boiling point early last week when snaps surfaced of the ballroom bad boy partying late at night with fellow female dancers.
However, hitting back at the talk of discord, days later the couple were all smiles as they went for a stroll with their newborn son Danté in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
During the latter stages of Zoe’s pregnancy, the 36-year-old had to deal with Brendan, 41, travelling on his solo UK tour and enjoying nights out while she stayed home with their other child, daughter Aurelia, five.
“It’s been a very stressful few months leading up to the birth and, barely 24 hours after Zoe had Danté, Brendan is already back on the road,” said a source at the time.
Last Tuesday, less than 24 hours after Zoe gave birth, Day & Night watched as Brendan partied at the TRIC awards in London with beauteous blonde golfer Carly Booth, 25.
The outspoken star, who was axed from Strictly in January after 14 years, recently admitted he struggles with the work and family life balance.
“You come off the stage and your adrenaline’s pumping and you don’t want to go to sleep for at least three hours,” he said.
“I wouldn’t be in bed before two o’clock on a show day just because your adrenaline does not stop. So that is not conducive to family life.”
