I’m not mad... I’ve seen aliens

PAUL O’GRADY

PAUL O’Grady believes he is “being observed” by aliens after spotting a UFO above his garden – and fears an encounter with an extraterrestrial.

The TV and radio star, 62, spoke of seeing “strange lights” over his home in the village of Aldington, Kent.

He told fans of his Radio 2 show, Paul O’Grady On The Wireless, how he he agrees with singer Kim Wilde who also believes in UFOs.

O’Grady said: “I was listening to Kim Wilde and she was going on about aliens... we’ve got them in Kent – I’m serious – over Folkestone, Dungeness and Hythe.

“I’ve seen them, and I’m not the only one, these strange light formations in the sky.

“The Army say it’s not them sending flares up, so we don't know, but I’m just terrified of waking up one night and there’s this thing at the bottom of my bed like ET.

“It’s like I’m taking the dog round the orchard, and I’ll look up and there are these weird lights. I’m being observed... at 2am in the morning.”

Revealing her own sighting last year, Kim, 57, said she first thought she was seeing the spirit of Michael Jackson.

Kim, who supported the star during his 1988 BAD tour, saw a UFO “20 times the size of an aircraft” on June 26, 2009. She said: “It was the day after Michael Jackson died and I thought, ‘He is coming back to haunt me!’

“It was on a Friday night and I saw two lights in the sky that were static and silent.

“I stood watching them above my garden from about 11pm till one in the morning.

“It had a profound effect on me. It makes me think that somebody is looking after us.”
