Has Gwyneth tied the knot in secret?
GWYNETH Paltrow used the baffling phrase “conscious uncoupling” to describe her split from her first husband.
So it was no surprise when her latest engagement party also turned into a swirl of confusion and intrigue.
The Oscar winner and owner of lifestyle website Goop attended a lavish bash for 400 guests at the vintage Los Angeles Theatre on Saturday to celebrate her betrothal to TV producer Brad Falchuk, 47.
Some reports said she and Brad, co-creator of Glee, had actually got married. But the headline-grabbing event may have been just a dress rehearsal.
The bride-to-be, 45, arrived in a one-shoulder maroon gown with a thigh-high slit. On the third finger of her left hand she sported a giant sapphire that looked like it had come from an upmarket Christmas cracker.

Guests included her close chums Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, Demi Moore, Reese Witherspoon, Steven Spielberg, Liv Tyler and Kate Hudson.
But gossip that the engagement party was actually a wedding was fuelled when Gwyneth, 45, posted a series of Instagram photos of a trip with friends, including Stella McCartney, to the exclusive resort of Costa Palmas in Los Cabos, Mexico, with one of her on a beach captioned “Costa Palmas hen weekend”.
And on Saturday night her mother, actress Blythe Danner, 75, held a suit carrier emblazoned with the name of Monique Lhuillier, a highprofile wedding dress designer.
Gwyneth is divorced from Coldplay singer Chris Martin, 41, the father of her two children, Apple, 13, and Moses, 12. She revealed her engagement to Brad in early January, writing on Goop: “I have decided to give it a go again.
“Not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”
Having eloped with Chris, Gwyneth said she is treating this wedding as her first. She added: “I’ve never had a wedding before. So even though I’m 45, I feel like a 21-year-old.”
