Lampards ‘shaken and terrified’ after raid on £10m home

- By Andy Russell

FORMER England football star Frank Lampard and his Loose Women TV presenter wife Christine have been left “shaken and terrified” after a raider targeted their £10million London home.

The couple, both 39, were not in when a man managed to sneak into their garden around two weeks ago.

Their nanny spotted him in the grounds of their Kensington townhouse in the middle of the day and shouted at him until he ran away.

A source close to the pair said: “It happened in broad daylight and could have been a lot worse. Luckily Frank and Christine were both at work.

“The nanny saw the man on CCTV and bravely went outside. She shouted and Christine’s dog Minnie made a racket which helped to scare him off. It has still left them shaken and terrified, especially Christine.”

No one is believed to have been arrested in connection with the drama.

The Lampards are reported to have increased security at the terraced home, with a security expert friend advising the footballer pundit on how to keep it safer.

A neighbour said: “Frank’s house was broken into two or three weeks ago. Householders have put up warning leaflets following other break-ins on the street in recent weeks. Two Range Rovers have also been stolen recently.”

Former Chelsea midfield star Frank was living with ex-partner Elen Rives in the same house when thieves took a Mercedes, Aston Martin and a £5,000 stereo.

Following his split from Christine and Frank Lampard are stepping up security at their luxury home, left, after it was targeted by a would-be thief this week while the couple were both out at work Elen, with whom he has two daughters Isla and Luna, Frank began dating Christine in October 2009.

The couple married London in December 2015.

The latest raid comes as Christine is also preparing to give evidence in court against an alleged stalker who is accused of bombarding her with tweets and letters.

Christof King, 39, of Brent, north London, is charged with turning up at their mansion uninvited on several occasions. The case will be heard at Isleworth Crown Court in west London in June. in
