Meghan exits Suits... with a big wedding

Meghan Markle sent social media into meltdown yesterday as her Suits character got married during her exit from the TV series, just weeks before she will walk down the aisle with Prince Harry.
The royal bride-to-be bowed out of her acting career by making her final appearance as Rachel Zane in the US legal drama at the end of its seventh season.
In the finale, called Good-Bye, Rachel tied the knot with Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams, in the show, which was first aired in 2011.

Shortly after Harry proposed, Los Angeles-born Meghan, 36, announced she would be leaving the USA Network series – and her acting career.
Her on-screen wedding did not reach the heights of glamour as her real one at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19 will.
Instead, Rachel and Ross enjoyed a modest ceremony before both characters departed Suits, which is shown in the UK on Netflix and was available to watch from yesterday.
Suits creator Aaron Korsh said: “I would say it was emotional.
“I remember having a really fun talk with Meghan as we were setting up to shoot the wedding and we were just wrapping up our time together.” But the images of Meghan in a wedding dress just weeks before the royal event were soon being sent around the world on social media.
Brooke Downing tweeted: “Suits will never be the same without Meghan Markle.” Another fan wrote: “Thanks Meghan for playing Rachel over the past seven years. She did a great job. She will be missed.”
Another said: “This is the last time Meghan Markle will be on my TV...this is why I have trust issues. TV always breaking my heart like I’m nothing.”
Meghan, who was at Harry’s side on Wednesday for an Anzac Day service, is not expected to be seen in public again until the wedding.
Harry and Meghan have been together since June 2016 and they publicly acknowledged their romance in November that year.
The same month, during her first joint interview with Harry, Meghan confirmed she would end her acting career. “I don’t see it as giving anything up, I just see it as a change,” she said. “It’s a new chapter.”
The pair made their first official public appearance together at the Invictus Games in 2017, and announced their engagement in November 2017.
Meghan had been a regular on Suits since its 2011 debut, appearing in 107 out of 108 episodes.
