Keep eyes on the ball, Dele

- Matthew Dunn

DELE ALLI has been told by Mauricio Pochettino to keep football at the top of his list after launching his own clothing brand this week.

The 22-year-old, still yet to make 100 starts in the Premier League, has designed a range of the BoohooMAN brand and his image is plastered all over bus stops and underground stations around the capital.

The Tottenham manager declined an invitation to attend the official launch event on Thursday night but is happy for Alli to pursue his business interests in his spare time – as long as it does not impact on his football.

“I’m not worried,” said Pochettino. “I understand these days life, football and business are completely different. The problem is if he starts to change the priorities. For him, football must always be the priority: football and family.”

Harry Kane goes into tomorrow’s final game of the league season against Leicester three goals behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah in the race for the golden boot – but he scored four in one game against the Foxes last year.

Leicester manager Claude Puel is fighting for his future after rumblings in the dressing room about his style and groans from fans about their brand of football.

But he said: “I try to rise above all these things. I want to work to develop the play and the squad, the young players and the structure of the club.”
