NOBODY can accuse Madonna of not using her clout to give her children a leg-up as they embark on their own careers. Well, certainly not in the case of son David, who plays football for the Benfica FC academy in Portugal, as she has been uploading footage of some of his matches to her 11.2 million followers on Instagram.
And the superstar, who adopted Malawi-born David in 2006, is certainly helping more people see the 12-year-old’s silky skills with her videos racking up close to 50,000 likes in 48 hours.
Although the 59-year-old acknowledges that she might just be better in front of the camera than behind it, showing that she can laugh at herself too.
She captioned a later upload: “My camera work sucks but I’ve become a connoisseur of astroturf!” Madge moved to Lisbon last summer to support David’s football career.
