has ruled out a return to Coronation Street – insisting it’s a time of life that she’d rather look back on fondly.

“I did an amazing six-and-a-half years there and I closed the door and moved on – it’s good to look back on and have fond memories of that,” she said at an AOL Build launch of her show My Girl with Day & Night in attendance.

And the 31-year-old added that she still shares a bond with her ex-castmates four years after leaving.

“I was at the Baftas a few weeks ago and I caught up with all the people I used to work with. It’s a very clichéd thing to say but it is like your family – and I root for them every single time they’re up for an award.”
