Sister acts to deliver the low-down on movie heroes

WHAT a marvellous article on Sister Rose Pacatte and how wonderful that of all the thousands of films she has viewed her favourite is the 1956 John Wayne classic The Searchers (“Meet the nun who watches sex and violence for a living”, June 12).

Apart from Liam Neeson, today’s computer and special effects assisted action heroes are pitiful when compared to old timers such as Wayne, Robert Mitchum, Burt Lancaster and Lee Marvin.
