It’s coming home time

- Best of cluck, lads!

THERE was fowl play when captain Harry Kane joined England teammates Jordan Henderson, right, Raheem Sterling and Jesse Lingard, below, for an unusual training session in St Petersburg yesterday. A HEADTEACHER is signalling It’s Coming Home time after axing the traditional school bell in favour of England anthem Three Lions.

Chris Rue surprised pupils at Epinay School, South Tyneside, Tyne and Wear, at the end of morning classes by blasting out Baddiel and Skinner’s hit across the playground.

Ecstatic children joined in as the words rang out across the school in the aftermath of England’s weekend win over Sweden.

Youngsters who have been arriving for lessons singing the 1996 classic, jumped and danced around the classroom, revealed huge football fan Mr Rue.

He said: “The kids have totally got into the World Cup, and the way Gareth has got the team playing, it has created a massive football feeling here.”
