EU is pulling every stunt in the book over Brexit

I DON’T understand the drama surrounding Brexit, what’s complicated about it?

The UK never voted to enter a political union, give up sovereignty or compromise its judicial system. The electorate was taken into, without any say, what we were told was a common (trading) market.

It was a huge lie but let’s not let the facts confuse the hard-of-thinking. We have now voted to leave so let’s just leave.

It seems the EU is trying to punish us for not wanting to be part of its club and is pulling every stunt to keep us “in our place”. In any other walk of life, that would be called extortion, blackmail or bullying; the Mafia is run like that. Billy Chadwick, Wolverhampton
