BOOT-IFUL! KING HARRY’S LITTLE PRINCESS
ENGLAND skipper Harry Kane’s golden summer continued yesterday – when his fiancee gave birth to the couple’s second child.
The Spurs striker, who won the Golden Boot for top scorer at this summer’s World Cup, shared the happy news on social media after partner of seven years Kate Goodland delivered daughter Vivienne Jane Kane.
And it would seem that Ms Goodland, 25, can put many a whinging footballer to shame as she did it without any pain relief.
Alongside a photograph of the couple with their new edition, Kane revealed that Ms Goodland opted for a water birth adopting the hypnobirth technique, which involves a combination of meditation, visualisation and deep breathing techniques to manage labour pains.
The 24-year-old captioned the snap: “Our beautiful addition to the family! Vivienne Jane Kane. So proud of @kategoodersxx for having the most amazing water birth with no pain relief at all. #mygirls #hypnobirthing”
The pair, who got engaged last year in Nassau in the Bahamas, have known each other since their school days. They already have 20-month-old daughter Ivy Jane.
Television presenter Gabby Logan was among the first to wish the family well. She replied to Kane’s post joking: “She is beautiful – and this means you already scored in August!”
The birth comes three days before Tottenham kick-off their Premier League season with a trip to Newcastle United.
Kane returned to training this week following a successful summer leading England to the semi-finals of the World Cup.
