Fury of families blocked in by fly-tipper

- By Tim Baker

BRAZEN fly-tippers left householders fuming yesterday after dumping a 5ft-high mountain of earth in a lane.

Commuters struggled to get to work after the 15ft long load of dirt was upended from a lorry in the night.

One of the houses in the lane in Beaconsfield, Bucks, used to be the £10million home of rock star Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon.

Yesterday, community nurse Sue Moore was unable to get to one of her patients and had to reverse on to the busy main road.

Thomas Taylor, 42, who was staying at the nearby Jordans youth hostel said: “I wondered what on earth would have possessed someone to fly-tip this in the middle of the night and what bubble they live in.

“The earth contains fragments of rubbish and glass. Children were playing in it.”

Council chiefs are thought to be investigating the fly-tipping.
