Boris wasn’t trying to ban the burka, leave him alone

I’M no fan of Boris Johnson but the storm whipped up over his comments is ridiculous.

He’s only said what millions of non-Muslims think. In this day and age of gender equality, the wearing of the burka in modern-day Britain has no place, regardless of religion.

Johnson wasn’t asking for a ban on the burka, his was a throwaway comment on how they appear and many think he is right.

Once again, political correctness wins in our snowflake society.
