The cause of dad’s bad fall?

gynaecological clinic with a prolapse, a full assessment is done and then whatever surgery is needed is carried out. It would be unusual for just an anterior repair to be done if you needed a posterior repair too. Therefore I suspect your rectocele developed after your first operation.

Check beforehand exactly what operation you require now. It may be you don’t need a hysterectomy just a posterior repair. Thank you for publishing my question about vestibular migraine (July 31). The information was very helpful. About the same time I read in your column about a lady who had the same symptoms as myself and who discovered her illness was triggered by tannins found in tea and coffee.

For the past month or so I have been on a tannin-free diet. Since then I’ve had no attacks. My confidence is back, no vertigo, upset tummy, nausea or vomiting.

The change was almost instant. I tried one cup of weak tea 10 days after starting the diet and was ill within two hours, although it was not a full-on attack. I’ve informed my GP and he was very interested to hear about tannins.
