Dragons’ Den winners claim to take hassle out of saving

- By Dominic Midgley

A GROUNDBREAKING scheme is promising to take the hassle out of finding the best energy provider by doing the hard work.

Look After My Bills is the brainchild of Dragons’ Den winners Henry de Zoete and Will Hodson, who say the average customer saves £253 a year by using their service.

Users sign up online and provide their energy details.

The team then scans the market and switches providers on the users’ behalf, while always looking for the best deal.

The company does all this free of charge, making its money by charging energy suppliers a commission on every account it switches to them.

Henry, 37, and Will, 36, recently triumphed on BBC show Dragons’ Den, in which entrepreneurs pitch business ideas to a panel of wealthy investors.

The duo ended up negotiating a record-breaking £120,000 for just three per cent of their company from “dragons” Tej Lalvani and Jenny Campbell. Their website lookaftermybills.com is now set to hit the 50,000 customers mark.

Henry said: “In order to stay on a good deal you have to constantly be on it.

“You sign up once with LAMB, we get you a deal, we put you on it then we automatically switch you when that deal ends.

“We just make sure that you’re never ripped off.

“We were on 15,000 customers before Dragons’ Den.

“But we’ve added 30,000 since then and I think we’ll be on 50,000 by next week.”
