Schoolboy made up story of jet sex with teacher to impress his pals, court told

-

Midgley continued: “You say when you came out the toilet the two of you were close together. So you took the risk that school staff or aeroplane staff could see you together. It’s just not true, is it?

“You fantasised and boasted to your friends. That got out and rumours started. Your parents started questioning you, as did the school.

“At that point you couldn’t say, ‘None of this is true’.”

The alleged victim insisted he had told the truth. Giving evidence from behind a screen, the teenager said: “It wasn’t just a teacher-pupil relationship.”

Day two of the trial heard claims that Wilson and the teenager’s relationship evolved after the flight.

Wilson allegedly kissed the boy in his bedroom after giving him a lift home from a postholiday school meal attended by other teachers and pupils.

They allegedly met again when Wilson took the boy on a date to Tintern Abbey, Monmouthshire, where they spent time “rolling around on the grass” and “kissing”.

The fourth charge relates to another date during which they allegedly kissed at Ashton Court near Bristol.

Wilson, of Dursley, Gloucestershire, denies four counts of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of trust between August and September 2015.

At the time she was a department head at a secondary school in Bristol which cannot be named for legal reasons and the boy was a sixth former.

Wilson is alleged to have told the teenager she was pregnant with his child but would have an abortion.

But Ms Midgley told the jury that although Wilson was pregnant at the time, her boyfriend was the father, not the boy.

“You came into her office one day and she was obviously upset,” she said.

“She did not say to you the baby was yours.”

The trial continues.
