Tall order as 7ft 7in ‘Tiny’ gets his first suit

Suits you…tailor Tim Nash has Paul in for a fitting after agreeing to make him a three-piece suit for £1,500 BRITAIN’S tallest man is looking sharp in his first suit – after finally finding a tailor willing to take on the challenge.

Former Harlem Globetrott­ers basketball player Paul “Tiny” Sturgess, 30, stands an impressive 7ft 7in.

And his £1,500 three-piece, made in medium grey wool, took twice the amount of fabric needed to make one for a regular size.

Paul needs the suit for the upcoming wedding of his close friend Luis Taylor, in Atherstone, Warwicks.

Eventually he found Tim Nash, from Norton and Townsend tailoring in London, who happily agreed.

Paul said: “I have always struggled finding someone to make me a suit. I reached out to a few people but no one was up for it.

“It has been tedious and it took me quite a while.

“I have never had a suit in my life. I went to my best friend’s wedding with trousers and a shirt. I was dressed smartly, but everyone needs a suit.

“When I lived in the USA it was so much easier. I did a lot of shopping online and there are more sizes available.

“Apart from the suit, I have a custommade bed and golf clubs.

“I wouldn’t say I have had trouble with anything else.
