Student kills 19 in bombing and gun rampage at college
A STUDENT killed at least 19 people in a gun rampage and bomb attack at a college in Russian-annexed Crimea yesterday.
Vladislav Roslyakov, 18, carried out the atrocity in the city of Kerch before he killed himself, authorities said.
He had detonated a bomb filled with screws in the cafeteria where the 40 injured were mostly teenagers.

CCTV showed Roslyakov on a stairwell as he ran between classrooms and opened fire on “anyone he could find”.
Witnesses told how teachers and students ran for their lives or went into hiding during the 15-minute horror.
Roslyakov’s body was found in the library with self-inflicted gunshot wounds, police said.
A second explosive device was found among his personal possessions and disarmed by a bomb squad.
School director Olga Grebennikova said: “There are bodies everywhere, children’s bodies everywhere.
“He blew up everything in the hall, glass was flying.”
Student Semyon Gavrilov added: “I looked outside of the classroom and there was a guy with a gun and shooting everyone. So I locked myself in the classroom hoping he wouldn’t hear me.”
Galina Roslyakova, the gunman’s mother, is a cancer nurse at a hospital which received some of the wounded.
She was initially helping victims but she was then interrogated by investigators. One colleague said: “She is confused and cannot explain her son’s motives.”
Russian president Vladimir Putin declared a minute’s silence for the victims.
He said: “This is clearly a crime. The motives will be carefully investigated.”
