- By Gillian Crawley

TOUGH TV interviewer Jeremy Paxman, former Corrie actress Michelle Keegan and comedian Russell Brand are among 20 stars to join The Great Celebrity Bake Off, it was revealed yesterday.

They will appear with Love Island host Caroline Flack and the I’m A Celebrity winner Georgia Toffolo to compete for the coveted Star Baker apron.

The stars will be watched by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding. The five-part series, to be aired next year, will also support the Stand Up To Cancer charity.

Each episode will have a winner and those who triumphed earlier this year included actress Teri Hatcher and comedian Harry Hill.

Channel 4 spokeswoman Sarah Lazenby said the specials have raised millions for charity. “We hope to do the same again next year with our brilliant line up of famous bakers,” she said.

“Expect some great bakes, a dollop of disasters, and lots and lots of laughs.” The full line-up is: John Lithgow, Paxman, Sally Lindsay, Keegan, Jon Richardson, Russell Brand, Russell Tovey, Greg Wise, Jess Phillips MP, James Acaster, Big Narstie, Nicola Adams, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Caroline Flack, Hannah Cockroft, Joe Wilkinson, Johnny Vegas, Toffolo, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, and Rylan Clark-Neal.

Last night Channel 4 held a charity fundraiser with programmes including Gogglebox with Premier League footballers.
