BREXIT HAS BEEN AN ESTABLISHMENT STITCH-UP AND THEY MUST NOT GET AWAY WITH IT

-

THERE are times when a revealed truth, though sad to say, simply has to be said because the evidence has finally become overwhelming. Let me with regret utter two.

From the moment our Attorney General, Geoffrey Cox QC, told us he had worked out and presented to Theresa May a synthesis in plain language of the small print in the EU-Departure Settlement which I call the May Scuttle, but was not allowed to tell us what it said, I suspected a time bomb within it. Finally he was forced by a vote in the House and the flat order of the Speaker. So he revealed. And it was devastating. Nothing temporary about the penalties imposed on us by Brussels; they were all utterly permanent. Under May we were heading for permanent subordination, not release from the EU’s chains.

In other words, our Establishment now lies to us in its teeth and on a daily basis. This is not your elected MP but the fifth column of bureaucrats who hide behind them and run them.

Regrettable Truth Two; Theresa May is not highly intelligent after all. She is thick as a plank. She went over to Brussels over months of shuttle diplomacy and was presented with a series of cunning traps. And she fell for every single one of them. She even engaged a personal adviser team to endorse them. Either we now capitulate (which was always intended by both Brussels and our in-country fifth column of betrayers) or we junk the lot, refuse to be panicked by the fictional threat of “No Deal” and go for the perfectly feasible World Trade Organisation rulebook under which the vast majority of non-EU nations trade perfectly peacefully with each other.

The danger is that we all become so utterly exasperated that we throw up our hands and say “Oh, do what you want”. We have been led to within an inch of the cliff edge. We mustn’t jump now.
