You scum! Father rages at banker who killed secret vice girl daughter

- By Mark Reynolds

A DISTRAUGHT father yesterday raged outside court at a City banker who had just been jailed for life for bludgeoning his daughter to death.

Michael Abbotts ambushed Zahid Naseem as he was led to a prison van.

Privately-educated Christina Abbotts, who worked as a high-class escort, suffered horrific head injuries when she was beaten with a kitchen pestle by Naseem after a cocaine and alcohol-fuelled night.

Yesterday, he was ordered to serve at least 19 years for the murder.

After weeks of watching Naseem deny the charge – and even claim Ms Abbotts attacked him – Mr Abbotts could not control his emotion outside Lewes Crown Court in Sussex. “Your attack ferocity.

“The terror of her final moments in life is unimaginable.”

Ms Abbotts, who was born in the West Midlands, was described in court as a London “socialite” who mixed with “posh” and wealthy friends.

Her family believed that she worked in information technology but secretly she advertised on the site AdultWork.com, offering overnight rates from £1,000.

The pair were last seen in public on the evening of May 24 when father-oftwo Naseem, who earned around £250,000 a year, met her in Crawley.

Worried friends started searching for her when she failed to turn up to her 29th birthday party in South Kensington, London, the next day.

Police found her body and Naseem when they broke into a flat in the early hours of May 26.

Prosecutor Christopher Tehrani said Naseem, of Amersham, Bucks, stayed in the flat after Ms Abbotts’ death – drinking and taking drugs.

Her parents said the court case did not fully reflect who she was.

“What has been highlighted does not change the fact that she was a loving, caring and loyal daughter, sister, niece and friend,” they said.
