Ramsay’s wife, 44 expecting 5th baby
CELEBRITY chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana yesterday revealed they are expecting their fifth child.
They shared the news in a video in which their children – Megan, 21, Matilda, 17, and twins Jack and Holly, 19 – each said “happy new year”.
After Tana, 44, gave her greeting, the camera panned down to reveal her large baby bump and Gordon, 52, could be heard saying: “And guess what? Happy new year because soon we’ve got another one coming. Oh my lord!”
Gordon and Tana celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary last month. The announcement coincided with Jack and Holly’s 19th birthday.
It comes two years after Tana suffered a miscarriage when she was five months’ pregnant. In 2017, Gordon vowed never to speak to TV chef Jamie Oliver unless he apologised to Tana after he said he had more children than the Ramsays.
The row erupted after Gordon mocked Jamie during his stint as host of ITV’s The Nightly Show, calling him “fat” and criticising his restaurants.
Jamie then said in an interview: “All my friends and people I work with in TV were very ****** off for me.
“I was doing TV years before him, so maybe five years ago it would have bothered me and I may have responded.
“But he’s got four kids and I’ve got five kids and I don’t want to be slagging off some kid’s dad on telly. It’s not nice.”
A furious Gordon responded: “To judge someone else’s family on the amount of kids you have. Boys will always fight and butt heads but Tana was mortified – and I mean really mortified.”
The chefs have long been at loggerheads. After Gordon’s appearance on The Nightly Show, Jamie likened his rival to a dementia sufferer who forgets the jibes he has made. Jamie said: “It doesn’t bother me, but it was a lot. He hasn’t texted to apologise. I don’t know if he does emotion like that.”
