Beckhams see in new year with £30k family bash
DAVID Beckham kicked off the new year in style with a lavish family party.
The former England captain splashed out a reported £30,000 as he invited loved ones and close friends to his Cotswolds mansion.
Beckham, 43, posted a photo on Instagram of proud mother Victoria, 44, snuggled up to sons Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, and 13-year-old Cruz, along with daughter Harper, seven.
The ex-Manchester United star added a touch of James Bond glamour to the night, sporting a dark green velvet tuxedo and bow tie.
The family shared video footage of their spectacular fireworks and scenes of celebration.
Former Spice Girl Victoria snapped her other half yesterday morning looking bleary-eyed and dressed in a white towelling robe with the hood pulled up over his head. “Oh wow!! He is feeling it today,” said her caption.
There was also a touch of Bond about former United teammate Rio Ferdinand, 40, who posted an image of himself roaring along on a jet ski with a seaplane in the background during a New Year break in Dubai.
Ferdinand, who also captained England, later shared a picture of him wearing a “Happy New Year” party hat, accompanied by the caption: “After this pic is a blur!!”
Meanwhile, TV presenter Holly Willoughby, 37, celebrated on an exotic beach.
Willoughby raises a glass with husband Dan Baldwin, 43, and her three children as a 2019 sign is lit up in flames. She wrote: “As long as you four are beside me... we’ll be just fine.”
