Jackett may need rethink

PORTSMOUTH boss Kenny Jackett admitted he needs to look at his attacking combinations after the leaders suffered a 2-1 defeat at Oxford.

Jackett said: “We didn’t get enough going forward last week against Blackpool and it was the same today.”

Manager Steve Evans labelled the decision to dismiss Ryan Tafazolli in Peterborough’s 4-0 defeat at Luton as “horrendous”.

Defender Tafazolli was shown the red card after 25 minutes for a lunging challenge on Andrew Shinnie. Striker James Collins grabbed a hat-trick as the Hatters, who are second in the table, made hay against Posh’s 10 men.

A late Scunthorpe equaliser meant thirdplaced Sunderland had to settle for a third successive 1-1 draw.
