HOT VELAR IN SHORT SUPPLY
JUST when you thought that the Range Rover Velar couldn’t get more desirable, this new SV Autobiography version is unveiled.
Boasting a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine with an eye-watering 550bhp, it will race from
0 to 60mph in just 4.5 seconds and onto a 170mph top speed with uprated brakes, larger 21in alloy wheels and a luxury interior with quilted leather seats and a unique sports steering wheel.
Officially, the Velar will return an average of 23.9mpg at the pumps, but good luck matching that if you use any of that performance.
The other bad news is that this SV Autobiography version will set you back a cool £86,120 and also it will only be available for a year, so if you want one, you’d better hurry. WHEN you’re working under the bonnet of your car, especially in the deep recesses of the engine bay, you can never have too much light. However, it’s always typical that on a two-handed job you need an extra hand to hold the torch, which is why this MAGFlex Pivot Slim Inspection Lamp is so brilliant.
Rechargeable and cordless, it’s just 6mm thick to light up narrow gaps, can rotate and tilt and there’s multiple magnets and a hanging hook to make it hands-free.
The lovely people at Ring Automotive have given us ten of them to give away, so to be in with a chance of winning one, just send your name and address on a postcard to: Torch Competition, Motoring Desk, Daily Express, 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN.
Closing date: February 20, 2019.
