More for O’Brien

- By The Scout

JOSEPH OBRIEN can continue his domination with his talented juveniles by landing the EMS Novice Hurdle at Naas today with KONITHO (2.40, nap).

O’Brien already has all the aces for next month’s Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham and victory for Konitho will see him heading for that event.

Following some moderate performances in France, the fouryear-old made an impressive debut for O’Brien when bolting up over today’s course and distance last month.

The likely danger will be Band Of Outlaws, his stable companion. He looked a smart performer when beating his 16 rivals at Limerick in December.

O’Brien can make it a double with LEAVE YOUR MARK (3.40).

He has yet to score from four outings but his recent run suggests he can now open his account. Willie Mullins rarely leaves this meeting without a winner and he looks to have the ideal candidate in PRAVALAGUNA

(2.10, nb).

She looked a smart recruit to fences when successful at Limerick in December.

A return to form will make

Synopsis the danger.

On her penultimate run she beat Black Tulip at Cheltenham in December.

Gordon Elliott, the trainer of Synopsis, looks to have the answer with EMPIRE ESCAPE (1.10) in the first division of the Cavan Hurdle.

After he was brought down on his recent outing, he is best judged on his penultimate when fifth in decent contest at this track won by Embrun Mitja.
