Police fight crime with one hand tied behind their back

WHEN are our politicians going to wake up to what is happening with our police service (“Give us tools to do the job begs despairing police chief”, February 8)?

The time has come to stop the ridiculous overseas aid payments and spend taxpayers’ money where it is needed. And while we’re at it, cancel the payments to the EU.
