Kids carrying blades aren’t children, they’re criminals

WHY all the prevarication about tackling knife crime? The message should be clear, if you carry a knife you get life. Then change the statute so there can be no mistake as to what the phrase means.

If you have the determination to go and buy a knife, or take one out of the kitchen drawer with intent, then you cease to become a child, you are a criminal. I worked in the penal system for 15 years. It is not working. There are absolutely no deterrents now, only rewards.
