QUICK HEALER: Kane has recovered from ankle injury team a boost as Spurs look to pile pressure on Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the table.

Pochettino, who confirmed Kane would be in the squad, said: “Everyone knows that Harry is an animal, he wants to be ready as soon as possible. He did everything to try to recover and the injury he suffered is tough to recover from.

Pochettino said he was wary of risking Kane, whose eagerness to add to his 21-goal tally would play no part in the manager’s decision.

Pochettino said: “I don’t care if he feels ready or wants to play or not. I’ll decide with my coaching staff, with the doctor and the medical staff.
