QUENTIN Tarantino, 56, is to become a dad for the first time with wife Daniela Pick, 35.

Congratulations are in order, but unlike the deluded saps who awarded his latest oeuvre Once Upon A Time In Hollywood five glittering stars, I was bored, bewildered and ultimately furiously frustrated by the movie.

It lasts a mind-numbing two hours 40 minutes. Nothing is worth sitting still for that long while the director meanders at a leisurely place down cul de sacs and goes off at tangents.

Perhaps the knackered-ness

seemingly obligatory in new parents will give the prickly director the nudge he needs to keep his films sweeter, and even more important, shorter.
