We can remember the days when this first appeared on our screens and we were taken by the gentle nature of everyone involved. Now, here we are at the start of the ninth series still smitten with everything Yorkshire. As we return to the White Rose county, Julian must treat a heifer with a pelvis that may be too small to give birth and we meet a pygmy goat that keeps getting its head stuck in a wire fence (above).
