Canaries can’t purchase Pat

DANIEL FARKE says there is no chance of buying Patrick Roberts even if he becomes a Norwich superstar.

The on-loan Manchester City winger, above, is set for a competitive Canaries debut in the Carabao Cup at Crawley tonight.

Farke is sure he will soon prove himself a star – but, whatever happens, will go back to Manchester next summer. Farke said: “There is no chance of us buying him because we can’t afford him.

“But we totally believe in him. He’s a brilliant lad who is full of potential.”

Farke will make wholesale changes tonight, with Ibrahim Amadou set for a debut in midfield.
