I could have chosen any of Bob’s albums but I think this one from 1976 reflected the times, growing up in England and sometimes not feeling very appreciated.

LUTHER VANDROSS: The Night I Fell In Love

One of the greatest singers of all time. This album can create a mood and soothe any romantic difficulties. As a young man, it helped me understand what this thing love is.

A classic.

SISTER SLEDGE: We Are Family

There are at least five or six classic songs on this album including the title track, Lost In Music, He’s The Greatest Dancer and Thinking Of You.

As a DJ you could always change the atmosphere with Sister Sledge.
